Chris Smalling’s best season since 2016 has abruptly been called called to a halt but he is yet to decide on his future according to the Daily Mail.
AS Roma want to keep him in the Italian capital, manager Paulo Fonseca has said multiple times.
Smalling could be keen a move back to England, though. He is unlikely to reclaim a starting spot at United, however well he performs in Italy.
According to the report, Spurs and Arsenal are both interested in taking the English international off United’s hands.
Everton and Leicester are also said to be interested in the former Fulham defender.
It is unclear when this season will end but Smalling is scheduled to return to Manchester United after his campaign with Roma draws to an end.
