Manchester United’s Premier League fixtures and dates

The Premier League will officially return on June 17, meaning Manchester United are back in business.

The club’s first game back will be on Friday June 19 away to Tottenham Hotspur, shown live on Sky Sports.

Spurs are the only side from the orthodox ‘top six’ that United have to play in the league, although they do still have a trip to 3rd placed Leicester City. This comes on the final day of the season, with there being eight other league fixtures to come before hand.

See United’s first three confirmed Premier League games and dates below:

  • Fri June 19: Tottenham (A) – 8.15pm
  • Wed June 24: Sheffield Utd (H) – 6pm
  • Tue June 30: Brighton (A) – 8.15pm

The club have also been given provisional dates for July, all of which are subject to change for TV coverage:

  • Sat July 4: Bournemouth (H)
  • Wed 8 July: – Aston Villa (A)
  • Sat 11 July: – Southampton (H)
  • Wed 15 July: – Crystal Palace (A)
  • Sat 18 July: – West Ham (H)
  • Sun 26 July: – Leicester City (A)

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side currently sit fifth in the table on forty-five points, three behind fourth-placed Chelsea. Champions League qualification is certainly on the cards, with the Blues still yet to face Manchester City and Liverpool.

United are also still competing in the FA Cup and Europa League. Their quarter-final away trip to Norwich City in the former will commence on June 27.

Fixtures are still yet to be confirmed in Europe, given the current complexities around travel. Should the competition resume, United will be taking a 5-0 aggregate lead into the second leg of their Round of 16 tie against LASK.
