United players tested for coronavirus twice per day

Covid-19, the cause of a novel coronavirus, has caused the world to go into meltdown and close to all top-flight sporting events in Europe has been cancelled.

It is unclear whether Manchester United will play again this season after the Premier League announced that it would be suspended until April 4th.

The Europa League has also been suspended indefinitely.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær told the press on Wednesday that none of his players had been tested for the novel coronavirus as there was no reason to do so.

However, a report in the Mirror now claims that United players are being tested for the virus on arrival and when they exit the AoN Training Complex.

Testing players twice each day shows that United are taking no risks with this potentially harmful disease. Should any player or training ground employee test positive for the virus, it is likely that the each first-team player will go into self-isolation as a precaution.
