Premier League players have been instructed to make changes to their quarantine lifestyles after receiving new guidelines from their clubs, according to Sportsmail.
The publication says that clubs have told their players how to prepare for a potential return of football through e-mails. The footballers have allegedly been told the following.
- Scale back home training regimes until May 4.
- Expect a return to group training at the end of May.
- Cancel any plans to leave the country this summer.
- Be ready to resume ‘football activities’ on 48 hours notice.
Manchester United players are currently working from home with programmes designed for each individual players, one-on-one video workouts as well as group workouts.
The Premier League is currently suspended indefinitely but these new reports suggest that it could be planning for a return for the early summer.
Sportsmail have earlier revealed that players were told to expect the season to resume in June.
